Astro-Olympics
At Astrocamp, we've taken what the Greeks started to a whole different planet! Astro-Olympics is part relay race, part wacky fun, part team work and sportsmanship.
After you find out what team you're on you will meet with your team led by 4 or 5 counselors and decide who is going to compete in the events. Astro-Olympics starts off with the relay in our indoor pool. Teams will board their raft and row around some obstacles while other teams throw buckets of water on you!
After you dry off its off to play an Astrocamp favorite called Grab Those Balls. Tennis balls will be situated around a room and teams will run and try to grab a ball. Players that didn't grab a ball are called out!
Up next is The Fun-O-Later. A game which members of your team will fire water balloons from our awesome launchers trying to hit instructors or your own team!
The next event is the Team Tug-O-War. Teams face off in an old fashioned event of brute strength. The team that pulls the other team over the line is declared the winner.
The final (and oddest) event is called Fly On The Wall. Your team will select a member to be duct taped to a board. After finishing the tape job the board will be lifted up to see if your member can fight gravity and stay like a fly on the wall!
Astro-Olympics are fun-filled and a good chance to meet other campers while you compete against them.
